The QSRA method is settled: risk drivers mapped to a CPM network, simulated properly. The tools differ on deployment, workflow, privacy and price. Here's the field as it stands — including where the enterprise suites are genuinely stronger.

Baseline-driven analysis: Safran and Acumen integrate baseline schedules, execution metrics and risk in one environment; RunMonteCarlo focuses on forward-looking QSRA (our sibling ScheduleInsight covers baseline forensics). Resource-constrained scheduling: RunMonteCarlo does resource-loaded cost risk (AACE 57R-09 — labour/equipment cost scales with duration, material stays fixed), but if you need resource levelling inside the simulation, the desktop suites do more. Enterprise administration: central licence management, SSO and IT-managed deployment are enterprise-suite territory — our model is deliberately the opposite. If those are your constraints, those tools earn their price. If your constraint is getting a defensible P80 this week without a procurement cycle, that's the job we built for.
No install, no licence server, no training course. Export the XER, drop it in, build the register, run. The worked examples are the training course.
Re-link rematches your risks and ranges to the new programme and reports what changed. The monthly QSRA stops being a rebuild.
Send editable review copies that work in any browser; merge their edits with approval. No other tool in this table does this without licences.
Seeded runs, engine version in every report, formulas and closed-form validation public at /maths. Nothing to take on faith.
The free tier runs a real analysis on your real XER — today.
